Booking & payment
What do I need to book a party?
To secure your date and time, a 50% deposit on the base package is required at time of booking.
When is my final balance due?
On the Friday before your party.
When do I pay for add-ons?
Add-ons are all included in your final balance.
What if more children come than we planned for?
Charges for extra children are included in your final balance, sent to you on the Friday before your party. If additional children show up on the day of, we can charge on site. There are no refunds for planned children who do not attend.
Is the deposit refundable?
Deposits for birthday parties are non-refundable.
Can I reschedule?
The Wonder will do its best to accommodate a reschedule based on availability.
What if The Wonder has to close?
In the unlikely event that The Wonder needed to close due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, we would work with you to reschedule or refund your party if another date does not work for your family.
Booking ahead
How far in advance should I book?
Parties typically book 3–4 months in advance.
Can I book last minute?
The Wonder will do its best to accommodate any last minute booking request provided there is scheduled availability!
When do you need our final headcount?
Two weeks prior to your birthday party, you will receive a details form to collect headcount and other items. However, that number can be adjusted up to the Friday before the party.
Who counts, and how many
Which children count toward our headcount?
All participating children, including the birthday child, aged 1–10 should be included in your child count. Non-walking infants under 1 and children over 10 do not need to be included in your headcount.
Is there an age below which a child is free?
Non-walking infants under 1.
How many guests can we have in total?
Our maximum capacity is 25 total children and 60 total guests, inclusive of adults and children.
Do parents stay for the party?
The Wonder does not accommodate drop off parties.
On the day
When can we arrive to set up?
Your family may arrive no sooner than 30 minutes prior to the start of the party for set up.
How long do we have at the end?
Your family will have the 30 minutes after a party to collect items and exit the space.
Can we bring our own decorations?
Approved decorations are permitted, including balloons, tablescapes, and free standing decorations. We do not allow any items to be attached or affixed to the walls or Wonder surfaces. Piñatas (pull-string only) are permitted.
What is your shoe and sock policy?
The Wonder is a shoe free facility. Adults are required to wear socks. The Wonder has socks for sale at $3/pair for your convenience.
Food and cake
Can we bring in outside catering?
Outside catering is permitted. We recommend a “less-is-more” light bites approach to catering, and ask that you confirm with The Wonder prior to ordering.
What about allergies and dietary restrictions?
Your family is welcome to bring your own pizza to accommodate any specific dietary or allergy restrictions.
What do we need to know about the cake?
The Wonder cannot store or refrigerate cakes prior to the party, and they should be brought close to the start of your event. We do not permit ice cream cakes. The Wonder provides candles.
Getting there
Where do we park?
The Wonder has parking for all guests.
Can we bring strollers?
The Wonder is a stroller free facility and we encourage strollers to remain in vehicles.
The space and the team
Do we have The Wonder to ourselves?
Families get exclusive use of The Wonder for the duration of the party.
Who runs the party?
Your party will include 3 Wonder Guides who facilitate set up, clean up, hosting, and facilitating activities and play! You get to be a guest at your own party.
Where do coats and gifts go?
There is storage for coats and personal items. Gifts will be collected at the door by our team of Wonder Guides and bagged to be taken home at the end of the party.
