What IS The Wonder

We could go a lot of ways with this one, but the simplest is: The Wonder is an absurdly playful space for kids AND grown ups with crazy cool classes, one of a kind programming, and an all-around vibe of merry-making.

Where is The Wonder?

Currently: New York, NY and Westport, CT — with the Upper West Side opening inside Equinox Sports Club in Fall 2026.

How can I visit The Wonder?

JOIN US! No, really, join us: The Wonder is a membership-based community. Memberships, as you might expect, are limited. See what ALL THE COMMOTION is about.

Who is it for?

The Wonder is built for children ages 0–8, AND the grown-ups who come with them!

What will you find when you walk into The Wonder?

FUN. That’s it.

No, but seriously: What will you find when you walk into The Wonder?

You’ll have to come in to see for yourself, but the Cliffs Notes:

A ball pit (with antimicrobial balls!) AND a bouncy house. (Yes. Both.)
Crazy-cool classes — crafts too messy for home, bubble discos, parenting 101, Happy Hour.
50 classes and drop-in activities every week.
Tons of space to run around.
Nooks and crannies and happy little spots for finger-painting, reading books, dreaming big dreams.
And a general vibe of joy and magic and wonder that parents will dig as much as kids.

What won’t you find when you walk into The Wonder?

Full-on childcare. Our Wonder Guides will be there to help, but we’ll need you to keep an eye (preferably both) on your kids at all times.
Co-working. Sure, you can dash off a quick email when you’re at The Wonder, but don’t you want to dance with a dino instead?
Humdrum classes. At The Wonder, we prioritize programming that is immersive, experiential, theatrical, and most of all — FUN!

How much does it cost to visit The Wonder?

The Wonder offers both monthly and annual family memberships, and all classes and programming are included! See membership options and pricing.

So classes and drop-in activities ARE included in my membership?

Yep! All you need to do as a member is RSVP for the class of your choice.

Do you sell gift cards?

What is a “drop-in activity” exactly?

Exactly what it sounds like. Not a class per se, but a lightly guided activity that your kids can do in between ball pit jumps and bouncy house visits.

Where can I find a schedule?

The weekly schedule lives on the Locations page, alongside that location’s hours. The Classes page is the full catalog of everything we run.

Visiting

Can I park my stroller there?

We provide limited stroller parking. We encourage you to pack light and come with the most fold-uppable stroller you can!

Does The Wonder have restrooms?

Not inside our space — but they are conveniently located nearby in Brookfield Place.

What precautions are being taken, re: COVID?

We encourage but do not require proof of vaccination at this time. All of our staff are vaccinated. We keep a close eye on CDC guidelines, and will update our policies accordingly and as needed to keep everyone safe.
